Themed as “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”, “Blue Chalk” Rural Teachers Training Project is designed to recruit excellent teachers from Beijing, Shenzhen and other areas with an thriving education to train teachers from rural primary and middle schools in impoverished areas with poor education and exchange ideas on education theories and pedagogics with them, so as to support children from rural areas to realize their dreams. Until now, it has trained and benefitted more than 20,000 teachers from over 8,000 rural schools.
